Cultural Intelligence
MFHA’s Cultural Intelligence (CI) Initiative is the result of the organization’s evolution from its diversity and inclusion roots. Since its launch with Johnson & Wales University in early 2011, MFHA’s primary goal is to deliver a series of cultural intelligence workshops and seminars in 2012 in various cities nationwide.

MFHA’s Showcase of the Stars™ is a live, interactive hospitality career exploration event that is hosted nationally throughout the year. The program is targeted at high school and college students as well as adult professionals interested in our industry.

Diversity Networks
MFHA’s Diversity Networks identify local and regional issues, relevant to multicultural issues and increase the outreach of the organization. MFHA delivers Professional Development and Career Acceleration Workshops through its Diversity Networks on a regular basis.

Diverse Leadership Reception
Each year, MFHA hosts its Annual Diverse Leadership Reception during the National Restaurant Association Show, providing an excellent opportunity for members, industry leaders and diversity champions to network and learn about the work of MFHA and the progress of its member companies.

National Conference Event
The 2010 MFHA “Ollin” Conference – Going All Out To Go All In was held on November 1, 2010 in Chicago. The program of the event centered on the theme of building a multicultural talent pipeline with cultural intelligence.
